This year, SSC has produced a total of 1827 graduates of its secondary, undergraduate and graduate programs. And among these, 17 graduated cum laude and 22 received academic distinctions.

The ceremonies were held on March 25 (School of Graduate Studies, Sorsogon, Castilla and Magallanes) and March 27 (Bulan campus). The commencement speaker for the first was Dr. Fay Lea Patria M. Lauraya, PASUC V chairman and former BU president; for the latter, Hon. Rep. Anthony M. Bravo of Partylist-COOP NATTCCO and former professor of SSC.

It has the theme, “Creating a Unified ASEAN Sociocultural Community through Quality Education.”

These graduates are from:

  • School of Graduate Studies – 75
  • Sorsogon City – 1313 (1224 from baccalaureate programs; 89 from SSC Laboratory High School)
  • Bulan – 280
  • Castilla – 90
  • Magallanes – 69

The figures presented here include those who have completed their degree programs during the summer 2014 and 1st semester of academic year 2014-2015.

The lab high school graduates belong to the last batch of the previous DepEd RBEC curriculum.
