With agility, focus and team work, Technology students had their active partake in the Amazing Race as one of the major highlights of this year’s BT Festival.

With the theme “Kalinangang Tekno Pinoy: Hamon sa mga Millenials”, the Technology Student Council (TSC) spearheaded the annual BT Festival from February 9-10, 2017 which included activities that showcased student creativity, cooperation, wit and interpersonal skills.

This year’s highlights are the Amazing Race, Techno Quiz and Exhibit, Display of Feasibility Study outputs, and the search for Mr. Teki. Aljun Ayo, a second year Electrical Technology student, was crowned as the first ever Mr. Teki of the department after besting the other contingents of the competition. He won five of the six major awards including: Best in Production Number, Best in Funny Attire, People’s Choice Award, Best in Ramp and Best in Uniform.

The minor student organizations of the program were also recognized with various awards during the closing ceremony of the festival.

“The activity proved that the Technology students are now gearing up for the challenges in the work place as they prop up with their innovative ideas and technical skills, and display camaraderie and rapport among one another,” Dr. Sharon Mariano, TSC Adviser, said in her interview.
